Legong Dance on Wedding at Tirta Gangga
Tirta Gangga was located in Karangasem regency, quite far from Ubud. It took more than two hours to get this place. One of the dancer had a travel sickness, but she danced good and very energetic. How wonderful, all audiences / invitations gave their appreciation to this performance.
There was a request from Putu’s father, that the flowers of the Legong headdresses (the gelungan) should with original frangipani flowers.
Sometimes its difficult to find, but we were lucky that it was frangipani season. For one gelungan needed about 90 flowers. We got these flowers from our home garden, neighbor, and from the market.
